The NTC Foundation develops relationships that enable individuals, businesses and the community to advocate for and provide resources in support of Northcentral Technical College and its mission. The Foundation does that through an active fundraising and grant development program.

Fundraising activities are coordinated through the NTC Foundation and its 30-member Board of Directors. Established in 1976, the Foundation is the third largest in the state technical college system with assets of $3.9 million. Annual fundraising activities include A Day for NTC, a three-day, multi-community activity that raises funds for student scholarships and other student support programs.

Foundation scholarships are available to all NTC students, but are particularly significant for returning adults who make up the majority of the student body at NTC.

Last year alone, over 427 scholarships totaling more than $215,000 were awarded through the NTC Foundation.

In addition to fundraising, an effort is currently underway through the Foundation to create an all-school alumni organization. One of the primary ways the Foundation connects with NTC alumni is through a quarterly newsletter titled AlumLine.
