Lori A. Weyers, Ph.D.
President
Northcentral Technical College
Lori began her tenure as Northcentral Technical College President July 1, 2006. Prior to coming to NTC, she served as the Vice-President for Learning at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay.
Lori has held numerous leadership positions within the technical college system. Most recently she has served as the President of the Instructional Services Administrators of the Wisconsin Technical College System and represented the technical college system on the University of Wisconsin Committee on Baccalaureate Degree Expansion.
Lori has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Behavioral Disabilities and Master of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling/Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Most
recently Lori received her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She received her Ph.D. in December of 2004. She herself has demonstrated a
life-long commitment to learning.
Lori has been the recipient of the prestigious Eagle Award that recognizes outstanding leadership in the Wisconsin Technical College System. She has also been recognized by the American Association of Community College’s Chair Academy as an outstanding educational leader.
Lori serves on several local boards including: North Central Wisconsin Workforce Development, Mc DEVCO, Wausau Business Incubator, Dairyland State Academy, and the Robert W. Monk Botanical Gardens
(ex-officio). She is a member of Wausau Noon Rotary.
Lori has been married for 33 years and is the mother of two grown sons and has one daughter-in-law
and two grandchildren.
