Over the past 93 years, NTC has focused on its learners. By establishing a close connection with the community, the College fills a critical and growing need for a skilled workforce by providing comprehensive, quality education and training. For NTC students, this means they can build their career, change careers or gain skills to advance without leaving the community.
Enrollment
NTC provides programs and services to approximately 17,728 credit and non-credit students each year. In 2006, the College was ranked 11 th of the 16 WTCS colleges based on individuals served.

Age and Status
Approximately 95% of Northcentral Technical College’s students are part-time, taking fewer than 12 credit hours during the typical semester. The average age of the NTC student is 34, with 65% of students age 25 or older.

The Northcentral Technical College district population is 229,497. One in eleven residents over the age of 18 in the 10-county district, enrolled in NTC courses last year.

The NTC student population is becoming more diverse with just over 8% represented as members of an ethnic minority group.
