First of all let me tell you that the training I received from you at OPOTA was sensational. I feel that the training you gave will be a great asset to my department and I feel very confident in conducting the same training to my officers. My three hour drive home gave me the opportunity to replay everything I learned in my mind and I not only feel that the training was great but as I was driving home it occurred to me that the training made me a better tougher officer. Thank You 1000 times. |

Just wanted to take a moment and let you know that both Ben
Treml and I had a great time at the WSSI course in Wausau a couple weeks
ago. It was one of the toughest training sessions that I have been to
and that was a good thing. I am looking forward to attending more
training with you in the future, either the advanced ground or knife
combat instructor courses as I have submitted requests for both. |

Sir, thank you for the excellent training. Of the 3 defensive spray instructor courses I've attended, your curriculum and enthusiasm for the subject was by and far the most professional and in-depth. Thank you. |

Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your course. I have taken 2 other Instructor-Trainer courses in OC and to date yours was the most informative. I believe with the information that you gave out combined with some of the other information I will be able to come up with a devastating outline/lesson plan. |

To date I have done 2 training sessions. The reviews so far have been excellent. I’ve had a couple of the Vessel and Terminal Security (VATS) sergeants and their lieutenant come through already. The VATS captain is coming through in the June class. They all have been very cooperative and encouraging throughout this process.
In fact, they have been so thrilled that they are preparing a Homeland Security grant to renovate our pool and its equipment. We are moving ahead with this training and forging new ground in water survival training for law enforcement officers. We owe a lot of the credit to you and your program, which we acknowledge any chance we can. |

Program exceeds the norm. Meticulous in detail. Achieves bottom line results, provides explicit documentations. Generates new ideas. Thank you for caring about the "warrior trainers." Great job! |

Finally, a system that makes sense. I have been a defensive tactics instructor for 12 years and I have been certified in numerous systems. This system was not only easily learned and can be retained under stress, but it made sense. I am committed to have all of my recruits and officers train on this system. The class as a whole was phenomenal and Dave was great! I encourage any person who is committed to give
quality and effective training to their members to seriously look into this system. Thank you Dave for opening my eyes and answering my prayers. |

The Use of Force Instructor class was not only informative, but also very pertinent. Use of Force is a subject vital to police duties, and is something that every officer should seek out training in. The Intermediate Use of Force Trainer class will not leave an officer disappointed! |

If your department hasn't trained on defense of edged weapons, you are being shorth changed. The skills Dave Young taught are easily learned and, with some practice, easily maintained. Dave showed us how to conduct this training in a safe manner without a major investment in equipment. |

I know when I send our deputies to RedMan training programs, it is quality training, both classroom and hands on, to show officers how techniques work on the street. There is no doubt in my mind that our department is getting their money's worth. |

Just wanted to say thanks again for the excellent training. I never would have thought it would be so physically demanding. I suspect many officer who have never been exposed to the training think the same. Thus we underestimate our opponent and may pay a dear price for such a mistake. Thanks again. |

Just a quick note to thank you and Mitch for a very eye opening (and closing) training experience. I know it was only LV1, but I must admit that of all the dozens of courses I have attended from LA Riot training to CQB ground classes (Modern Warrior, etc.), your class kicked butt the most! Working out and fighting on the ground feels good as risky as it is, but being dragged down again after a non-breath is a whole other world. Thank you for building my confidence in the waterborne environment. I will pass on your expertise to our members and try to replicate your drive in the spirit of saving officers lives. |

Anytime I go to great training, I like to take a moment and thank the instructor. Even though it was much more physical than I expected, I gained a great deal from this training and believe this is an excellent program that will enhance my agencies' crowd management program.
Again, Thank you and I look forward to your future training sessions. |
