This program is self-paced and flexible and covers aspects of community-based residential facility (CBRF) caregiver training. All training is provided via contract with the CBRF. Courses are not offered to individual students. Performance-based content includes the areas of the resident's rights, challenging behaviors, client-specific training, needs assessment, individualized service plans, standard precautions, dietary needs and menu planning, first aid, and medication management and administration. All units include videos, workbooks, and competency testing.
