What is it?
Advanced standing agreements are made between the technical college and the high school for high school classes that teach what a college course teaches. Students earn college credit by successfully completing the high school course with a grade of B or better. High school courses with advanced standing agreements have "AS" as part of the course title and are indicated on the high school transcript.
How do I get it?
You request advanced standing credit at the time you register at NTC. Other technical colleges will recognize NTC's advanced standing agreements and grant credit if they have a comparable course.
