Natasha Anderson

Women's Volleyball Coach

Entering her second year as the head coach of Northcentral Technical College’s women’s volleyball team in 2011, Natasha Anderson came to NTC with a background in assisting in the development of college athletic programs from the ground up. Anderson spent two years as assistant volleyball coach at Mount Mary College, an NCAA division III institution in its provisional membership years. She rounds out her coaching experience with one year of coaching seventh grade volleyball at St. Margaret Mary's school in Wauwatosa, Wis., and is also currently the freshmen girls' basketball coach at Prentice High School.

Anderson, a former co-captain, played for the Mount Mary Blue Angels volleyball program from 2003-2005. She joined the Angels team in its first year of NCAA play, and as a result is well acquainted with the process of developing a new team. She was also a captain of the Blue Angels Basketball squad from 2003-2006, and was voted Most Valuable player by her teammates. A graduate of Prentice High School in 2001, Anderson was a letter winner in volleyball and basketball. She also played her first year of collegiate athletic eligibility at UW-Washington County in West Bend, Wis., participating in both volleyball and basketball.

Anderson received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Behavioral Science from Mount Mary College in 2007, and then graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin in May 2010 with a master’s degree in Student Personnel Administration. She has seven years of higher education experience and has had the opportunity to work with Images of Us Sports - a non-profit organization in Milwaukee which promotes women's sports - to bring her experience to inner-city girls interested in working in athletics. Through this organization, she has been able to share her journey as a student-athlete and facilitate a sports information workshop.

One of Anderson’s main goals is to bring a new excitement to the campus in the form of collegiate athletics. Anderson is passionate about women's athletics, and her coaching style encourages student-athletes to grow not only as athletes, but as members of an academic community. Her philosophy is that developing teamwork, dedication and accountability will carry over into the classroom and will enrich the student experience. Her goal is to develop a successful team in the lady Timberwolves, working with academic and student affairs staff to provide opportunities for students to grow in both leadership and academic capacities.

Bryan Schroder

Coed Soccer Coach

Bryan Schroder enters his second year as the head coach of Northcentral Technical College’s coed soccer team in 2011. Schroder has many years of experience coaching multiple sports at different levels, including previous stints as the head coach of the Merrill High School soccer team and the Northern Wisconsin Thrashers Midget AAA hockey team.

Schroder began his playing career at the age of 12 in Davenport, Iowa, when soccer was still a pilot program in the area. He would go on to become the first athlete at his high school to receive a varsity letter in soccer for three consecutive years, serving as a starter each season. After high school, he continued his athletic career by playing soccer collegiately at the University of Northern Iowa, during which time he also received an invitation to try out for the United States Under-20 National Team. Schroder played in two international exhibition games against the German National Team, scoring a pair of goals in a 2-0 victory in one of those matches.

Schroder’s coaching philosophy has remained consistent at each level he’s worked, from youth teams to the collegiate stage. His philosophy is that sports are an opportunity to continue learning, and preaches hard work and dedication in order to develop well-rounded athletes. The focus of the coed soccer team will be based on academics and making sure his athletes are able to continue on in any endeavor they wish to pursue in life.

Schroder also serves as an Electrical Apprenticeship instructor at NTC, after having worked in the electrical trade for several years.
