The Minority Student Advisor/Coordinator serves to assist minority students with many aspects of their educational journey at Northcentral Technical College so they can be successful in completing their education training programs.
Services Provided:

Advisement of admission requirements/process

Educational planning such as advising in the selection of career and program areas; and assisting students with enrolling in occupational programs and courses

Academic and personal advisement to students, including adjusting of students’ class schedule or adding/dropping classes to balance personal life schedules

Assistance with applying for financial aid

Orientation of students to college activities and resources

Campus or program tours for an individual or a small group

Program resources and procedures and administration of various scholarships and grants for minority students

Assist students with any other education related issues

Resources to the College in its goal to meet the growing diversity needs of the community
