NTC is committed to supporting your academic success.  NTC's Learning Center provides affordable Instructor led academic support to students who require additional help with reading, writing and math skills in general education and degree specific courses.  

College Success Series
NTC’s College Success Series will help you develop or fine-tune your abilities in dealing with stress, time management and understanding financial aid, as well as academic preparation for Anatomy & Physiology and Nursing courses. These short-term classes will help you navigate, create balance and succeed at NTC.

Peer Tutoring
Tutoring Services are available to students on all NTC campuses. Tutoring Services offers drop-in, small group and online tutoring to NTC students.  See the Drop-In Tutoring schedules below; explore online resources; apply to be a Peer Tutor; or if you have additional questions regarding tutoring options, submit a Tutor Request Form.

A tutor does…

• explain course information, processes, and assignments.
• provide positive feedback.
• help develop study skills.

A tutor does not...

• do a student's assignment.
• give the answers.
• sit with a student for extended time while assignments are being completed.
