Who is eligible for Youth Apprenticeship?
High school juniors and seniors from participating North Central Wisconsin School-to-Career Partnership schools are eligible to participate.
How do students apply for YA?
Midway through the sophomore or junior year, students contact their local School-to-Career coordinators and submit applications.
What are the benefits to students?
Students benefit from the Youth Apprenticeship Program by
- Focusing on career awareness and exploration
- Following a career pathway of classes from high school to post-secondary institutions or the workforce.
- Earning a paycheck while learning from skilled professionals.
- Experiencing first-hand connections between high school education and real life work.
