What is it?
Transcripted credit is the name given to a high school course that is identical to a technical college course. The high school agrees with the technical college to teach the college course at the high school. The student earns both high school and technical college credit for the course and receives both a high school transcript and a college transcript showing the transcripted credits earned.
What are the benefits?
You earn college credits at the same time you are fulfilling your high school graduation requirements.
You can get a head start on your college education, at no cost to you.
How do I get it?
You enroll in a transcripted credit course at your high school. Your teacher will have you fill a form to register at NTC.
Need more information?
Contact your high school School-to-Career Coordinator or your counselor to find out if your school offers any transcripted credit courses.
