How to Register for a Course at NTC

1. Registration is the process of enrolling in classes. Registration is required for any and all classes you attend at Northcentral Technical College. You are not officially registered until all fees have been paid.
2. Review the Course List for the term you wish to enroll. Click on Course List to make your choices. Be sure you meet the prerequisites listed in the course detail description before you enroll. You will need the course title, catalog number and class number of the course(s) when you register. Use the Course Planning Worksheet to assist you in selecting courses. After selecting your courses, it's time to ENROLL IN A CLASS.
3. You can Enroll/Register for NTC courses the following ways:

   Mail Registration
   In-person Registration

Monday, April 13, 2009 is the date registration/enrollment appointments begin for the Fall 2009 Term. Student Enrollment Appointments are based on the number of credits accumulated by the student toward their degree program. Appointments are assigned to students officially enrolled in a degree program.

Enrollment Appointments can be viewed by logging onto my>NTC and clicking on "View My Appointment."

To enroll/register for classes, click "Enroll in a Class." You will need the specific class number(s) to enroll in a class.

Tuition and Fee Payment

• If you are taking at least three credits and are enrolled in a one- or two-year program, you may be eligible for financial aid. For more information, contact the Financial Aid Office at 715.675.333 Ext. 5862. Financial aid eligible students will have payment deferred until financial aid is applied to student accounts.
• Pay by payment plan or credit card – visit our website and click E-Cashier for more information.
• Mail a check to NTC at: 1000 Campus Dr., Wausau WI 54401 or stop at your nearest campus to pay in person.

Financial Aid

Check the status of your financial aid online by logging on to my>NTC and clicking on "View My Financial Aid."

New Program Students

Students who have been admitted to a program for the Fall 2009 term will be invited by NTC to program orientation and will register for classes at that time.

TELEPHONE REGISTRATION

You will need:

1. Course title
2. Course number
3. Student ID number or Social Security number
4. Credit card to register by telephone.

Call NTC's main campus at 715.675.3331 or 1.888.682.7144, or call your local regional campus (telephone numbers listed below).

MAIL REGISTRATION

1. Click this Print Registration Form link. Use the print option of your browser to print the form.
2. Complete the registration form and mail it with your payment. You may pay by check (payable to NTC) or credit card. If paying by credit card, complete the credit card section found on the registration form.
3. Upon receipt of your completed registration form and payment, a confirmation schedule and receipt of payment will be mailed to you.
4. Mail the completed registration form and payment to:

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION

Visit one of NTC's campuses. Business hours:

• Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
• Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday, 8:00 a.m. - 1 p.m.
