New Opportunities For Students to Get Bachelor’s Degree

(Wausau, WI) – Northcentral Technical College (NTC) and the University of Wisconsin-Stout are pleased to announce two new transfer agreements allowing students to continue their education and obtain a bachelor’s degree.

Under the new agreements, associate degree Architectural/Residential Design students from NTC will be able to transfer into the Bachelor of Science in Construction degree at UW-Stout. In addition, students in NTC’s Educational Interpreter Technician Associate Degree will be able to transfer into the Bachelor of Science Vocational Rehabilitation-Individualized concentration program with junior status, allowing for a seamless continuation of learning.

Northcentral Technical College and Rasmussen College Develop Partnership

Northcentral Technical College (NTC) is partnering with the Rasmussen College Wausau Campus to expand educational opportunities to residents in the north central Wisconsin. This new partnership will allow credits acquired through NTC’s Criminal Justice and Accounting Associate Degree programs to be applied toward a Bachelor’s degree in either Criminal Justice or Business-Accounting at Rasmussen College Wausau Campus.

Engineering Technology: Mechanical Design Concentration Initiative at NTC Moves Forward

(Wausau, WI)—Northcentral Technical College (NTC) and UW-Stout are moving forward with an exciting new partnership that provides local learners with the opportunity to earn their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology Mechanical Design.

Beginning in fall 2009, students completing NTC’s Mechanical Design Technology Associate Degree program can continue their learning with UW-Stout’s Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology Mechanical Design degree. UW-Stout will teach the BS curriculum at the NTC campus.

New Opportunity for Students to Get Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in Wausau

(Wausau, WI) – Northcentral Technical College (NTC) and Viterbo University, La Crosse, WI, are pleased to announce a new transfer agreement allowing nursing students to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Wausau.

Under the new agreement, associate degree nursing students from Northcentral Technical College will be able to transfer into the bachelor degree program at Viterbo University with junior status, allowing for a seamless continuation of learning.  In addition, Viterbo University offers face-to-face classes in Wausau giving students the opportunity to gain an advanced degree without having to travel out of the community.
