Transfer agreements can be complex. The Transfer and Placement Office is available to help you make an easy transition to a four-year degree college.
- How do I know which credits that I have taken at NTC will transfer to a four-year college? Is there a list of agreements between NTC and four-year colleges?
The NTC website has agreements listed by program and institution, click on here. You can also visit the Transfer Information System (TIS) online at www.uwsa.edu/tis for information on UW college transfer agreements by course or program.
Xang Lee, NTC’s transfer specialist, can assist you with credit transfer questions. Also, when you apply to your university of interest, you will receive a credit evaluation that will show you which credits transfer.
- Do I need to have a certain number of credits to transfer to a college or university?
You do not need a certain number of credits to transfer, but requirements for admission may differ depending on the number of credits you have earned. Check out the college website of the school you’d like to attend to find specific transfer requirements.
