NTC Announces Concealed Carry Training

 

(Wausau, WI) – Northcentral Technical College has announced the schedule for the concealed carry training courses.

 

Course times and dates are:

Monday and Tuesday, October 17 and 18, 5:30p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Monday and Tuesday, October 24 and 25, 5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Wednesday and Thursday, October 26 and 27, 5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Monday and Tuesday, November 7 and 8, 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Wednesday and Thursday, November 9 and 10, 5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Wednesday and Thursday, November 16 and 17, 5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

 

Students in the NTC training course will use state-of-the-art weapons simulation technology to learn decision making skills.  The state-of-the-art training simulator will expose participants to realistic encounters with perpetrators.  The purpose of this real-life scenario training is to teach students how to see, decide, and act appropriately when using fire arms.  Through this training, students will understand the suddenness in which the decision to use a fire arm must be made, typically three seconds.  Finally, through the weapons simulation, students will gain an understanding of the impact of their decisions on those involved as well as the greater community.
