Student Futuremakers Video Competition Launches
(Wausau, WI) – Northcentral Technical College (NTC) is encouraging students to share their educational experiences in the statewide Futuremakers Video Competition. The competition rewards students who creatively demonstrate how they combine their passion with their education to launch a successful future. The short video entries demonstrate how NTC is helping them make their futures.
Now through February 29, students from any of the 16 Wisconsin technical colleges can submit their videos. Judges at the colleges will consider creativity, originality of presentation, effectiveness of communicating the Futuremaker experience and weighted voting from viewers. Each college will forward one video to the state level for the semifinals.
A different panel of judges at the state level will evaluate the semi-finalists. In April 2012, one of three technical college students will be awarded the Futuremakers Video Competition top prize of $2,000. Second and third place prizes of $1,500 and $1,000 will also be awarded.
