Welding Fabrication & Robotics Associate Degree

Description

Technical diploma graduates who desire increased knowledge and skill development in the Welding field may pursue a second year in the Welding Fabriation & Robotics Associate Degree program. Students will have the opportunity to program and operate CNC cutting and forming equipment and robotic welders, displaying the skills needed to work in an advanced metal manufacturing environment. Students will also expand their blueprint reading skills through fabrication layout, fixturing and precision measurement. Welding metallurgy, inspection and machine shop principles will also be studied. Critical thinking skills will be built through problem solving activities that foster teamwork, positive attitudes, outstanding work ethics and an understanding of global competition.
