A New Year, A New Me
January 20 – March 24, 2014
Gather a team of 3 females and 3 males and participate in the A New Year, A New Me - Weight Loss Challenge! Teams weigh in every 2 weeks during the challenge. The top three teams with the highest percentage of weight loss win fantastic prizes!
The weight of participants is kept confidential and only the team's percentage of weight loss/gain is displayed. Register your team through Student Life. If you do not have a team, we will try to find a team for you.
Healthy Body Tune Up
March 3 – March 30, 2014
Gather your NTC friends and participate in this fun-filled wellness challenge. Earn points for physical activity, nutrition, stress reduction and other aspects of wellness. Complete the challenge for a chance to win one of twelve $25 NTC Bookstore gift certificates.
30 Days of Wellness
March 31 – April 29, 2014
Complete one wellness task each day from the 30 Days of Wellness calendar. This challenge focuses on improving all aspects of self-wellness. Complete at least 24 daily wellness tasks to qualify for a chance to win one of twelve $25 NTC Bookstore gift certificates.
April 30 – June 1, 2014
How many daily steps do you take? It’s recommended people walk at least 10,000 steps each day to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Participants will monitor their daily steps with a pedometer and take the necessary "steps" to improve their daily physical activity. T-shirts awarded to those who successfully complete the challenge.
