Wellness Challenges

NTC students and employees are invited to participate in wellness challenges throughout the school year to develop healthy lifestyle habits. To get started:

  • Register for the challenge.
  • On the first day of the challenge, you'll receive an email with the official tracking log.
  • At the end of the challenge, turn in the log to Student Life for chance to win one of twelve $25 choice gift cards to the NTC Bookstore, Campus Cafe, or Chamber of Commerce.

Eat Your Fruits and Vegetables

Grocery stores, farmers' markets and gardens are abundant with delicious fruits and vegetables. It's recommended the average adult should consume 4.5 cups of vegetables and fruits daily. How do your intake compare? Challenge yourself to improve or maintain your nutrition.

The 56er

Did you know walking is considered the easiest and most affordable type of physical activity? If you walked or jogged 2 miles each day for 28 days, it would equal 56 miles. In this challenge, participants track their walking or jogging mileage each day to achieve 56 miles in 4 weeks.

Healthy Body Tune Up

Does your body need a healthy tune up? Participate in this fun-filled wellness challenge and earn points for physical activity, nutrition, stress reduction and other aspects of wellness.

30 Days of Holiday Wellness

The holiday season is filled with family, friends, cheer and food; don't let it derail your healthy goals. Keep on track with daily wellness tasks. Complete 24 days successfully to be eligible to win!
