Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP)
The student chapter of the Associations of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) at NTC (Northcentral Technical College) was formed in 1968 (then called Data Processing Management Association), and is sponsored by the Wisconsin River Valley Chapter. The club serves and benefits the community by sharing computer knowledge and expertise learned at NTC. AITP hosts many events each year to support this non-profit club and the community as a whole.
Student Support Specialist Club
Do you enjoy working with computers? Do you enjoy helping others solve computer problems? Do you have exceptional interpersonal skills? Are you detail oriented? Are you comfortable working in changing, fast-paced environments? If you answered yes to all or most of these questions, the student support specialist program and club could be for you.
The computer specialist program prepares students for jobs that provide computer technical support, assistance, advice, troubleshooting, training and documentation of computer users for hardware, software and systems.
Dental Hygienist Club
The dental hygiene club is located in Wausau, Wisconsin, and our program is shared with three other sites, including Fox Valley Technical College - Appleton, Wis., Western Wisconsin - La Crosse, Wis., and Chippewa Valley Technical College - Eau Claire, Wis. through the use of interactive video. The dental hygiene vision is to be a leader in the creation of exceptional educational opportunities for our customers
.Multicultural Student Club
The Multicultural Student Club was established in 1992 and is a seed for growing the promotion of the cultural awareness, career awareness, educational enrichment, student alumni activities, student leadership development, educational and employment tours and peer mentoring activities for minority students at Northcentral Technical College.
Student Nurses Association
NTC's Student Nurses Association is an active organization of future nurses who are dedicated to promoting the nursing profession and nursing education. Members of the organization participate in college activities and fundraising events, and have the opportunity to visit the WSNA Midyear Convention in Green Bay in October and the NSNA Midyear Conference in Louisville, Kentucky in November.
Delta Epsilon Chi (DEX)
Delta Epsilon Chi is a student club that serves as a resource for NTC Marketing students. Aimed at building marketing, management and entrepreneurial skills, members of Delta Epsilon Chi build and foster relationships with area businesses to gain real-world perspective in their field, which they can apply in state and national competitions. With an emphasis on expanding what is learned in the classroom, Delta Epsilon Chi is a great resource for all NTC students.
The Electromechanical/Electronics Club
The Electromechanical/Electronics Club inlcudes students from the Electromechanical Technology and Electronics Technology programs at Northcentral Technical College. The club participates in several field trips throughout the semester, including field trips to employers within the College District. The club is funded through local fundraisers and the NTC Student Governing Board. The club also participates in school activities and attends SGB General Assembly meetings.

I Sign Club
The I Sign Club is made up of students in the Educational Interpreter Technician Program. Through club activities such as flower sales, raffles, and cinnamon roll sales, students earn money to help cover the expenses of two field trips. The I Sign Club has also performed community service activities for the Wausau area.

Student Governing Board
The Student Governing Board is comprised of four elected officers, a representative from each of the 35 campus clubs and three members-at-large elected by the student body. The Student Governing Board is the representative of NTC students. SGB meets twice a month to discuss issues that affect the lives of NTC students. SGB also collaborates with college administration on key issues as the voice of the students. Get involved with SGB and see how you can "leave your mark!"
