NTC Counselors provide resources, guidance and support to enable learners to succeed in achieving their individual academic, personal, career and learning goals.
College students face important and often difficult decisions. Counselors are available to provide the support necessary for students to achieve success on their lifelong learning journey. Students can be assured of a confidential setting in which to explore their concerns, educational goals, interests or any other concerns.
Academic – NTC counselors focus on helping you. Counselors will determine your ability to begin at a technical college and are able to assist you with making the transition to NTC.
Career – Explore your interests and match them to a career. Match careers with an academic path that fits you best by enrolling in a Career Decisions course.
Personal – Counselors assist students in developing personal skills for success. Counselors are listeners for those who are struggling and voices for those who confide their learning hurdles. Counselors are also available to provide crisis intervention and professional referrals to students.

If students are considering dropping or changing a course, withdrawing from college or other important decisions affecting their future college success, they are encouraged to schedule an appointment with a program counselor.
