Northcentral Technical College
At Northcentral Technical College's Learning Center, you can pursue a variety of goals. Students can brush up on basic reading, writing and math skills, study for tests such as the GED/HSED, work on job skills, receive one-on-one counseling about careers, prepare to go back to college, learn English as a second language, and take GED/HSED, placement and employment tests. Salvation Army
NTC offers basic education for students at the Salvation Army. At Wausau's Salvation Army, you can brush up on basic reading, writing, math and computer skills allowing you to complete your GED or HSED, get a driver's license, enter a college program or find a new job. The Salvation Army Learning Center is conveniently located in the same building as other Salvation Army programs. One Stop Job Center
NTC offers a Learning Center program at the Marathon County Job Center. At the Job Center, you can brush up on basic skills that will help you get a new job. The Learning Center program can also help you make the transition from AFDC to full employment. The Job Center Learning Center is conveniently located with other community service agencies, including the JOBS program, MCDET, DVR and Social Services. Marathon County Jail
NTC offers basic education and career classes to the inmates at the Marathon County Jail. These classes can help people with basic reading, writing and math skills, get their GED/HSED and make decisions about careers. The Marathon County Jail program also offers one-on-one counseling.
