Introduces the basics of animal nursing including patient history, restraint for medical procedures, and preventative medicine on both large and small animal patients. Topics covered Include venipuncture, wound management, client education, diagnostic imaging, and small animal nutrition. This course is only offered in spring and summer semesters.
