Description
Introduces the learner to the application of principles of mechanical systems, which includes: electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning. Heat loss calculations will be completed in both long-hand and computer based. A systems approach to environmentally responsible homes will be addressed and studied.
Prerequisites: 10-614-121 CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY 1 and 10-614-139 AUTOCAD 2D FOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN. Condition: Accepted into the Architectural Design & Technology Associate Degree program, or with Dean or Associate Dean approval.
