Description
Examines the use of water capacities, drought and water limiting conditions. Additionally crops such as cranberries and potatoes rely on irrigation for production, and learners will have the opportunity to explore irrigation on these crops in Wisconsin. Learners will examine various methods of irrigation and equipment during the course.
Prerequisite: 10-093-103 AGRICULTURE EQUIPMENT SAFETY. Condition: Accepted into the Crop Science Associate Degree program, or with Dean approval.
