Introduces computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) using SolidWorks 3D Modeling software. Utilize 3-dimensional software (SolidWorks) to create parts, assemblies and the subsequent 2D working drawings. Emphasis will be placed on the practical design of functional industrial components, allowing the learner to take a design from concept to completion. Students will also study the basic of Finite Element Analysis, Motion and Fluid simulation.
