Surveys and analyzes current public health problems incorporating an epidemiologic framework. A basic introduction to community health history and organization is followed by specific health issues analyzed through the agent, host and environmental interrelationships. Primary, secondary and tertiary prevention as well as health promotion strategies are detailed.
