Description

Examines the concepts and commands required to configure and troubleshoot routers and switches for basic functionality. Technologies include Routing Information Protocol (RIP), static and default routing, Access Control Lists (ACLs), Virtual LANs (VLANs), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Network Address Translation (NAT), and device management.

Prerequisite: 10-150-185 CISCO 1 - NETWORK COMMUNICATIONS 1.

This class requires hands on lab work that must be performed in the Network Specialist lab at the Wausau Campus. Live lectures may be available during class time via the college's web conferencing tool if students are unable to attend the lecture component in person.
