Description

Examines the architecture, components and operations of routers and switches in a complex network. Learners will configure routers and switches for advanced functionality. By the end of this course, learners will be able to configure and troubleshoot routers and switches and resolve common issues with OSPF, EIGRP, EtherChannel, STP and VTP in both IPv4 and IPv6 networks.

Prerequisite: 10-150-186 CISCO 2 - NETWORK COMMUNICATIONS 2.

This class requires hands on lab work that must be performed in the Network Specialist lab at the Wausau Campus. Live lectures may be available during class time via the college's web conferencing tool if students are unable to attend the lecture component in person.
