Introduces the devices and technologies that make up a modern information system including endpoint devices, servers, routers, switches and access points. Learners build a virtual small business network and gain experience utilizing virtual machines. This includes installing and configuring desktop operating systems for file and print sharing, and a wireless router for secure wireless access and common network services like DNS and DHCP. This course prepares learners for success in the IT-Network Specialist program.
