Description

Applies basic nursing skills and the nursing process in meeting the needs of diverse clients across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on performing basic nursing skills, the formation of nurse-client relationships, communication, data collection, documentation and medication administration.

Prerequisite: 10-806-177 GEN ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY. Pre/Corequisites: 10-543-101 NURSING FUNDAMENTALS, 10-543-102 NURSING SKILLS, 10-543-103 NURSING PHARMACOLOGY and 10-809-188 DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY. Condition: Accepted into the Nursing Associate Degree program.
