Introduces pharmacological principles including pharmocokinetics, pharmacodynamics, physiological adaptation to medications, medication administration, and safety. This course emphasizes safe medication handling and administration utilizing the nursing process as a guiding framework.

Prerequisite: 10-806-177 GEN ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY. Pre/Corequisite: 10-809-188 DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY. Condition: Accepted into the Nursing Associate Degree program.
