Prepares students to perform Computed Tomography procedures on patients with supervision and direction. Learners apply radiation protection and standard precautions in the production of digital images in a health care setting while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines. This course can be taken as part of a certificate and is intended to prepare the student to complete the ARRT clinical experience requirements.
Pre/Corequisites: 10-526-201 CROSS SECTIONAL PATHOLOGY, 10-526-202 COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY PHYSICS, INSTRUMENTATION AND IMAGING. Condition: Completion of all program courses and/or permission of program faculty. State licensure may be required at student's expense.
