Description

Explores film processing components as well as the principles and operation of digital imaging systems found in diagnostic radiography. Factors that impact image acquisition display, archiving and retrieval are discussed. Guidelines for selecting exposure factors and evaluating images within analog and digital system. Principles of digital system quality assurance and maintenance are presented.

Prerequisite: 10-526-159 RADIOGRAPHIC IMAGING 1. Condition: Accepted into the Radiography Associate Degree program.
