Program Description

The Allied Health Advanced Technical Certificate is designed for the Allied Health professional who would like to explore advanced concepts of aging in order to increase their knowledge and skill in caring for older adults. The curriculum focuses on gerontological best practices in communication, collaboration and therapeutic interventions to support healthy aging and an improved quality of life for older adults. Allied Health program students with third semester standing may enroll in individual courses.
