Part 107 Test Prep Plus

This course will begin to delve into the avenue for becoming a certified FAA sUAS pilot and will also include maintenance, pre- and post-flight checks and plans and more. Led by an experienced drone pilot and featuring guest lessons by area flight instructors, this course will prepare students and businesses to take the FAA’s Part 107 Remote Pilot Exam; upon completion of an exam, students would be certified to operate a drone for commercial and/or business purposes

In this class, students will begin to understand the sUAS landscape, with various topics including knowledge of different types of drones, their features and operations as well as the different industries in which they are used.

Drone Landscape: Photography and Videography

This course will introduce drone pilots to the photography and videography industry that the sUAS technology is engulfed in. From high definition photos and 4K video, to live streaming and server/storage awareness; this module will encompass what these industries expect in the form of sUAS operation. During this session, the overall beginning to end process will be gone through so one may know an example of the equipment, software, accessories, etc. that need to go into bringing a neat picture into a finished commercial piece of art that is ready to sell.
