Each Make a Difference Day, the United Way Volunteer Connection coordinates the largest raking project in the Wausau area, helping give elderly and disabled residents peace of mind and increasing their independence. As in past years, Student Life is coordinating one large volunteer group from NTC students and employees. All students – whether part of a club or not – are invited to volunteer to rake lawns from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Students and employees can either stop by the Student Leadership Center or email to sign up. Closer to the date, a confirmation email with specifics will be emailed to everyone who has registered to be a part of the event.

If you're a member of a NTC student club, you may be able to earn $20 Community Service attendance bonus for your club by participating!
