Through guided activities and information sharing you'll learn what it means to be and to provide a Safe Space. Participants will discover first impressions, learn core vocabulary, understand privilege, and have an opportunity to become an ally if desired.  This training is focused on developing, enhancing, and maintaining an educational environment that is culturally competent and supportive to LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer/questioning) individuals, as well as straight people who care about diversity, equality, and inclusion.

Participation in this session will count for club credit toward one of the following: advocacy, diversity awareness, or soft skill development.
