NTC is offering an exciting summer opportunity to high school students (grades 9th – 12th) who are interested in learning more about the Machine Tool trade. NTC will be offering the Metal Masters Quest program this summer which will allow students to take two online courses that can be applied towards NTC’s Machine Tool Technical Diploma, Machinist Registered Apprenticeship Program, or the Tool & Die Maker Registered Apprenticeship Program. The best part about the opportunity is that it’s FREE for students and completers will receive a $150 scholarship to apply at NTC if you enroll in one of the three programs mentioned above!
The program will run from July 6 – August 21, however, because the courses are online you can complete your coursework at times that work best for you. Additionally, if you are not already employed with a local manufacturing company, you may have an opportunity to be placed with a local employer so that you can start to gain hands on experience in the industry as well.
