This course is designed to increase your enjoyment of the theater. Join Dr. Sarah Rudolph as she shares insights into an upcoming reading of “The Shadow Box”, a play written by Michael Cristofer. Winner of the 1977 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, it was later made into a film by Paul Newman.  The first evening will be discussion and preparation for the production. The second evening of class, the group will attend the production. The third evening will be conversations regarding the production with discussions around themes, language, setting, tone and character development guided by Dr. Rudolph.  

Class will be held on Monday, February 7, and Wednesdays February 9 and 16, 2022 at 7 pm. 

Fee: $35 includes ticket to the reading of "The Shadow Box" at the UWSP-Wausau Campus on February 9. 

 

 

Cancellation Policy

An attendee must notify NTC of a cancellation prior to the beginning of the event in order to have fees removed or a refund issued. Attendees who do not attend without notifying Continuing Education will be responsible for payment of all course fees and will not be eligible for a refund.
