Design Thinking is an iterative process that is used to understand customers, challenge assumptions, redefine problems and create innovative solutions to prototype and test. Involving five phases—Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype and Test—it is most useful to tackle problems that are ill-defined or unknown.

During this workshop you will learn to apply the Human Centered Design Process to design/re-design products, services, systems or experiences to innovate and create solutions that are tailor-made to suit your customers' needs. This will be an in person workshop with hands-on examples and activities.

WHAT WILL WE DO?
  • Learn techniques to gain insight to the social, emotional, and physical needs of your customer
  • Use tools to turn customer needs in to human-centered solutions
  • Apply the ideation process to quickly generate and test new ideas
  • Assess the risk of potential solutions through rapid prototype feedback and testing
