Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) is an attachment-focused intervention designed to encourage stronger and healthier relationships with children and caregivers. TBRI uses Empowering Principles to address physiological and sensory needs, Connecting Principles to meet attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to teach healthy social and emotional behaviors that lead to mental heath.

This seminar will be offered hybrid, with in-person attendance at our Wausau campus and virtual attendance via Zoom livestream.

Meet our Presenter

Tony Iniguez is a former K-12 art teacher, currently working at the Marshfield Child Advocacy Center as a trauma education specialist. He is a Trust-Based Relational Intervention Practitioner and Neurosequential Model in Education Trainer.  Tony provides trauma responsive services, education and supports to children, caregivers, school professionals, early childhood educators and child welfare professionals.

An attendee must notify NTC of a cancellation prior to the beginning of the event in order to have fees removed or a refund issued. Attendees who do not attend without notifying Continuing Education will be responsible for payment of all course fees and will not be eligible for a refund
