This four-day course will give the opportunity to gain enhanced knowledge and confidence, improve capabilities and become more efficient in daily lubrication management activities and maintenance techniques.  The Machinery Lubrication course will teach you how to transform your maintenance program from reactive to proactive. We'll give you the tools to help plan your maintenance activities with a balanced approach that prevents problems before they occur. Including best practices techniques for lubricant delivery, storage and dispensing, management of machinery lubrication routes, lubricant selection and additives, setting re-lubrication intervals, basic oil analysis, and contamination control.

BENEFITS:

  • Learn proven techniques to effectively maintain your equipment
  • Gain proven strategies for increasing machine availability
  • Create a strategic proactive plan for your maintenance practices

Attendees Will Learn:

  • How lubrication affects machine reliability
  • Maintenance program strategies for achieving world class lubrication
  • The importance of oil film thickness and dynamic clearance on components
  • Advantages and disadvantages to grease lubrication
  • How lubricant properties change
  • How additives deplete and degrade
  • How to equip machines for effective contamination exclusion and removal
  • How contamination affects the machine and lubricant
