Community service is central to the mission of Phi Theta Kappa. NTC’s Beta Rho Zeta Chapter collaborates with the SCNVATA Club for an adopted stretch of highway near the NTC Agriculture Center of Excellence (aka farm). Please join us for our bi-annual highway clean up. It’s the same day as in-service, so you’re already class and work free for the day!

To help us plan for food and supplies, please register for this event.

We’ll meet in the farm parking lot prompting at 1:30 p.m. to distribute gloves, bright vests, and garbage bags. We’ll clean along our adopted stretch of Highway K, just north of the Wausau campus. Around 3:00 p.m., we’ll conclude cleaning and return to the farm for an ice cream party for all participants.

Not local to the Wausau area? No worries! Head out to your neighborhood or a local park and clean up there. Snap a pic and share on social media. Be sure to tag @ntctimberwolves so we see it!

Bonus: We’ll track all hours for the 9/11 Service Challenge and if you’re a member of a NTC student club and sign in your club can receive “receive” credit and earn funding for this school year!
