- Walk through a new student checklist
- Review how to access your student account (Workday)
- Confirm how and why to check your student email
- Learn about Canvas, our online learning management system
- Cover what’s needed for your first day of classes
- Learn about student IDs
- Take a campus tour to find your classrooms (optional)
- And more
Start your college experience on the right foot by attending one of these 50-minute sessions (plus a tour after). The same information will be covered at each session, so make plans to attend the one that best fits your schedule! No registration required.
Virtual – Zoom
This session is offered entirely online. Due to the nature of the session, there is no tour component. If you experience challenges logging in for the session, contact Student Life at 715.803.1294.

In Person – Wausau Campus, Gazebo
Once you arrive at the NTC Wausau campus, park in the main lot and enter through the main entrance. (It’s just to the left of the flag display and labeled Main Entrance.) We’ll have signage to guide you from there! Essentially, you’ll walk forward past The Den to a long display of windows. Exit outside to the right to enter the courtyard. Then join us in the Gazebo.
