Professional Development, Growth, Flexibility, and Empathy are words that are more common in today’s workforce than ever before. Using the DiSC Personality Type Assessment, Tim McKeough will take participants through a highly interactive workshop to help them understand their own behavior patterns, appreciate the diverse styles of their colleagues, and improve team dynamics and communication. 

Objectives include:

  1. Explain the four primary DiSC styles (Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, Conscientiousness) and provide an overview of the characteristics associated with each.
  2. Increase Self-Awareness by gaining a deeper understanding of your personality type and the strengths and challenges it presents to your growth
  3. Increase empathy by learning how to identify other personality types and appreciate the diversity of styles within teams/coworkers.
  4. Improve communication skills by learning how to adapt and better connect with and respond to others, particularly those with different DiSC profiles.
  5. Increase leadership and influence skills by gaining insight into how to inspire, manage, and retain employees by understanding individual differences and needs
  6. Increase collaboration and decrease conflict by learning how to leverage diverse strengths and recognize stress triggers leading to more effective teamwork, better outcomes and deeper relationships. 

 

Meet The Instructor

Tim McKeough (MC – Q) has a passion for success and getting people and businesses to have more of it! He brings a unique perspective to all he does blending his high energy, knowledge, and love of seeing success to everyone he meets. Tim has spent over 20 years in executive level leadership positions in operations, business development and sales. He brings a breadth of knowledge and experience in operations, executive relationships, business development, system implementations, strategic planning, and organizational development in service to his clients.

Tim received his bachelor’s degree in Statistics from UW-Madison and his MBA from the University of St. Thomas. He holds certifications in the MBTI & DISC Personality Assessment, The Leadership Diagnostic Network and is a Certified Canfield Success Principles Coach. Tim enjoys volunteering and serves as a coach and mentor for the Getting Ahead program at St. Vincent De Paul and the St. Joseph project.
