In today’s world, the safety of clients and the workforce can no longer be taken for granted. In this seminar, Safety Consultant, Ted Hayes, will teach you what to do when facing an armed intruder or active shooter. Additionally, he will cover:

  • Active Shooter Prevention
  • Active Shooter Response
 
Ted Hayes consults with businesses, school districts, and municipalities to develop safety programs and risk management strategies. For over 30 years, Ted has served as a security and safety consultant to clients in Wisconsin and throughout the United States.  In 2001, Hayes and Waukesha County (WI) Sheriff Bill Kruziki authored the book, "Not in MY Company! A Pro-Active Guide to Company Violence Prevention" and in November, 2014, Ted authored his second book, "If It's Predictable, It's Preventable – More than 2,000 Ways to Improve the Safety and Security in Your School." 
 
This workship is offered as part of the Business Essentials Series, a partnership between Northcentral Technical College and the Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce. The series is designed to address specific fundamentals of business while exposing participants to new information and techniques to help them grow professionally and improve overall operations and business efficiencies.
