Current Issues in Ethical Decision Making

This seminar explores the ethical decision making process professionals face in the field. It examines how to compassionately respond to individuals who are facing death and how Advance Directives show respect for life and dignity. With a lineup of expert speakers, the seminar provides valuable information on how to overcome compassion fatigue as well as how to manage conflicting professional duties.
Target audiences for this program include healthcare providers, clergy, social workers, hospice caregivers, nurses, long-term care providers, human service providers, attorneys and homecare providers. Lunch will be provided.
This program is brought to you by The Community Bioethics Committee of Price County. The mission of the committee is providing guidance for those facing difficult healthcare and bioethical decisions. This is met through bioethics education and training, drafting policies related to decision making and to consulting with professions, families and the community for informed bioethical decisions.
