Master Gardeners Apple Grafting Workshop

Northcentral Technical College, in partnership with the Northcentral Wisconsin Master Gardeners, is pleased to present the Apple Grafting Workshop. The grafting process can be used to introduce unique plant characteristics onto rooted plants. Several different procedures for successful grafting will be reviewed during the workshop.

Each participant will receive two G11 root stocks. Participants are asked to bring a pair of leather gloves, a sharp utility knife or grafting knife, and a 10 oz. container for water. Apple scion wood will be available for grafting or participants can bring their own scion wood.
Pre-registration for this event is required.  Attendance is limited to 20 participants. 
About the Presenter
Norman Deffner is a retired physician who has been successfully grafting fruit trees for many years. He has presented grafting workshops in the past for Master Gardeners to high acclaim.
