NTC Board of Trustees Application Process
Each year three members are appointed to serve a three-year term beginning July 1. The appointment process typically begins in January or February. Details are posted to this page at that time each year.
Spring 2016 Board Appointment
Three board appointments are to be made for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2016.
Of those appointed:
- One Employer Member
- One Employee Member
- One Additional Member Vacancy
When selections are made:
- One must be selected from an ethnic minority group (May come from any region)
- One must be selected from the Central Region
- One must be selected from the Eastern Region
Western Region Description: The district portions of Price, Taylor, and Clark counties; and the following municipalities in southwestern Marathon County: (C) Abbotsford; Bern; Brighton; Cleveland; (C) Colby; Day; Eau Pleine; (V) Fenwood; Frankfort; Holton, Hull; Johnson; McMillan; Spencer (V/T); (V) Stratford; (V) Unity; Wien.
Eastern Region Description: The district portions of Langlade, Shawano, Menominee, Portage, and Waupaca Counties; and the following municipalities in Southeastern Marathon County: Bevent; Elderon (V/T); Franzen; (V) Hatley; Norrie; Plover; Reid; Ringle.
Central Region Description: The district portions of Marathon County and Lincoln County, including all municipalities not listed above.
Application submission must be on or before Wednesday, February 24, 2016. Applicants must submit completed application/affidavit and supporting materials to:

Please note: Applicants must submit at least two letters of recommendation and attend the board appointment meeting which will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. at the Marathon County Courthouse Corporation Counsel Conference Room, 500 Forest Street, Wausau WI 54403.
