When and what time will the funds be withdrawn from my bank account?

FACTS specifies the date each payment will occur, but it is your financial institution that determines the time of day the payment is debited. FACTS recommends you check with your financial institution to determine how far in advance funds should be deposited into your account to ensure the automatic payment clears. If a payment date falls on a weekend or banking holiday, the payment will be attempted the following business day.

How will I be notified of my payment information?

Once your agreement is posted to the FACTS system, you will receive a confirmation notification of your payment amount by e-mail or letter. Payments will be processed until the total balance is paid in full. The notification has important information you must have to log on to My FACTS Account. The notification also serves as a reminder that a $25 per semester nonrefundable FACTS Enrollment Fee will be processed from the account indicated on the agreement.

Can I pay by phone with FACTS?

In accordance with the Terms & Conditions of your FACTS agreement, payments are processed electronically. FACTS does not accept payments by phone.

What is the FACTS Access Code?

To help protect your privacy, FACTS asks the person responsible for the payments to create an access code. If you should call into FACTS inquiring about your FACTS agreement or inquire online through My FACTS Account, you will be required to verify your FACTS Access Code. If you do not create an access code on your FACTS agreement, one will be randomly assigned to you. Your FACTS Access Code will be identified on your FACTS Confirmation Notification. Please remember to keep a copy of your confirmation notification. 

What if I budget my tuition with FACTS and then drop or add a class later or my financial aid comes in?

The NTC Cashiers Office will adjust your FACTS balance accordingly. Changes to your FACTS payment can only be made up to five days prior to the scheduled payment date. Changes during this time will be reflected in the following month's payment.

They said my financial aid is not ready yet. What do I do?

Tuition and fees are due on the due date. If your aid is not ready, you may use the FACTS payment plan to cover the balance due NTC. Make sure you have provided 100 percent of the information the Financial Aid Office has requested to shorten the waiting time. Failure to complete necessary financial aid paperwork will result in your entire balance being added to your FACTS account.

Is FACTS a loan program?

No. It is not a loan program; therefore you have no additional debt, there are no interest or finance charges assessed and there is no credit check. The only cost to budget monthly payments through FACTS is a $25 per semester nonrefundable enrollment fee.

I didn't register for my classes online. Can I still pay online using e-Cashier?

Yes! Simply register for classes on campus. Then use the link at ntc.edu to access e-Cashier (via myNTC) and select payment by either credit card or ACH, or enroll in the FACTS payment plan, also through e-Cashier.

Can I choose the number of payments I'd like to make?

Yes! Depending on when you enroll in the FACTS payment plan, the choices vary by term. Some options require an initial down payment. After following the steps to set up a payment plan, consult the FACTS guide or website for more information.
